However, the more we travelled the more we came to appreciate what we have in our own back yard, with a melting pot of craftsman from all corners of the globe we certainly have craftsmen and companies of world standing. Companies and craftsmen, who are pushing the boundaries and exploring new concepts, for us at Devrite, it is imperative to maintain a sense of curiosity; it stimulates and drives our passion.
For us it is much more than simply the aesthetic and initial quoted cost of a building, particularly as this is rarely the true cost at the end of the journey. It is about doing the best for our clients, both now and also in the years to follow.
In our travels we have seen the global transition towards faster build times, the adoption of methods, and processes that do not stand the test of time and designs and use of materials that are not fit for purpose, trends which ultimately costs the unwary client much more than just the dollar value.
Ongoing maintenance, poor design elements and inappropriate material selection are very hard if not impossible to rectify retrospectively, and we see this playing an ever-increasing role in unprecedented levels of anxiety and stress in the lives of new home owners.
